I was looking for training pants that were larger. These fit the bill and are great. The outside layer is not 100% leakproof, but the insides are plenty thick. But my daughter has soaked the inside while sitting on the floor(carpet). She did tell me that she just piddled in them, and when I got them off, the floor was not damp in the least.

I recently ordered the item and when it got here I tried it on my daughter and she is on the slimmer side... But, was within the weight limit for the small size. The item was puffy and poofy all around her body area and the elastic around her leg was loose. The waist portion of it fitted but that was all... It would be hard to put her pants over this underwear as it will add so much bulk. I think the idea of it is a great one, but it needs to have a better fit... There was too much to alter, so I decided to return it. Be sure to check the return policy before you make your order!!

Great product does what it says. Will leak if child has very full bladder. Minimal leaking accidents otherwise. Easy to clean, does not hold odors like most cloth diapers(I clean on hot with detergent and bakingsoda and add Vinegar to the rinse cycle). Not Waterproof- But What Is?

Before deciding which of the "waterproof" training pants to buy in larger quantities I bought one of each of the brands on the market to test them out. At my house we have Bummis, Kushies, Imse Vimse and Potty Patty. I wanted training pants that were not going to leak all over the place and were easy to wash using the washer and dryer.

The previous reviewers of this product mentioned that these are not waterproof and that is true. Don't expect to have your toddler's pants stay dry while wearing these if they have an accident. However, I've also learned that ALL of the "waterproof" training pants that we've tried arent waterproof either. In that capacity these training pants perform just as well as the others.
Even though they arent leak proof, they work much better than those pants that are cotton only. Although the pants will leak, they will contain the mess so that it doesn't go all over the place or down into your child's sneakers. When using these, you might want to consider putting a plastic cover pant over these to keep the pants dry.

Compared to the other pants we tried, these were the least expensive and were also easiest to wash and dry in the washing machine/dryer.

My only other complaint about these pants compared to the others is that they had a bad chemical smell to them when they first came out of the package. The smell went away after the first wash. The other pants did not have that smell.

NOT EVEM CLOSE TO WATERPROOF

I don't understand how they can even claim that these are waterproof exterior. They completely are NOT waterproof, I would venture to say they are not even water resistant. It was as if my daughter went to bed in regular underwear. They are useless. And I agree with other reviewer, the sizing is way off....my daughter is 44 pounds, 6 years old, and wears a Small. But you don't need to worry about the sizing, as you just shouldn't buy them unless you want a lot of wet beds.
